On the grounds of Lawrenceburg City Park rests a living tribute to Kentucky’s servicemen and women who have fallen in the War on Terrorism. This first-ever permanent Healing Field is a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of all Americans and as a healing memorial to families of our fallen heroes. The field contains 118 flag poles, flags and memorial plaques, each representing a Kentucky soldier who has given their life to protect our freedom. This display is free for all and open year-round for all who wish to honor our fallen heroes.
