Talent Pipeline
Centrally located in the middle of Kentucky’s two largest universities and the state’s two largest community college systems, Lawrenceburg is a prime location to pull from a wide range of up and coming talent. Even better is the fact that Lawrenceburg is home to one of seven Bluegrass Community & Technical College campuses in Central Kentucky. However, our commitment to preparing students for future workforce opportunities begins even before post-secondary education. We have a variety of workforce initiatives and resources that give Anderson County students an advantage.
Industry and education merge at the regional Trailblazer Early College & Career Academy where area high school students prepare for high-growth, in-demand job opportunities. Located in the adjacent county, Anderson County students are able to get hands-on training in Health Science, Informatics and Industrial Maintenance, including welding and electrical. By partnering with area employers, students are able to participate in various apprenticeship and shadowing opportunities.
